As a medical and mental health professional, I am inherently sceptical of any educational course advertisement I read no matter how laudatory or how well recommended it may be. This is born of the fact that in my speciality of seeing patients who suffer blood cancers or are victims of suicide, rape, battering, abuse, etc.

I am required to take many hours of continuing education course work each and every year in order to maintain board certification in the areas of which I practice. Sadly, many of these courses are found wanting in both content and in the way the presenter organizes and teaches the material. One such experience I endured came from the 300 plus hours of hypnotherapy I had in the initial course I took in order to obtain my certification as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.

As I feel that hypnosis can be of tremendous value to a patient suffering from the conditions I treat, I have always felt somewhat frustrated by the fact that I knew I wasn’t as skilled at the application of hypnosis as I knew I could be if given the proper training. Then I met a physician from Great Britain who told me about you, your background and the fact that he had heard that your Mind trainer course was the best and most comprehensive introduction to hypnosis and NLP on the planet. Having great respect for this gentleman, I began to dig around and the more I dug, the better your course sounded. Keeping in mind that I don’t take a 15-hour non-stop flight to the other side of the world lightly, to say that I arrived in Australia with great expectations as well as the trepidation of expecting to be disappointed would be a huge understatement!

Well, what a wonderful surprise I got. Not only was your course organized in a manner so intelligent that it allowed the “flow” of an enormous amount of information to be …presented, but the WAY it was presented allowed for total and complete understanding of all of the material in both the hypnosis and NLP segments. As if this were not enough, you demonstrated and proved the application validity of each and every piece of the course information by way of solid demonstration.

Finally, Alistair, your style of teaching coupled with your wonderful sense of humour made the entire 11 days an exciting, inspirational and life altering experience. When I arrived “down under”, I had huge expectations along with more than a sizable degree of scepticism. Your course far EXCEEDED my expectations and squelched every ounce of scepticism before the end of the first day. I want to thank you my friend, for one of the finest educational experiences of my entire career that exceeds 40 years. You are a credit to all who are fortunate enough to be one of your students.
